Senior students in Queensland are issued with a senior education profile upon completion of Year 12. This

profile includes a number of certificates and/or qualifications including:

Senior Statement

All students completing Year 12 are issued with a Senior Statement. The

Senior Statement is a transcript of a student’

s learning account.

The Senior

Statement shows all subjects and the results achieved that may contribute to

the awarding of a Queensland Certificate of Education or Tertiary Entrance

Statement.

Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)

The Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) is Queensland's senior

school qualification that is awarded to eligible students, usually at the end

of Year 12.

A

detailed brochure,

outlining how to plan for a QCE is available on the

QCAA website.

Tertiary Entrance Statement

The Tertiary Entrance Statement shows an OP eligible student's

Overall Position (OP)

and

Field Positions (FPs).

Only OP eligible students receive a

Tertiary Entrance Statement.

The QCAA website provides detailed information outlining:

How an OP is calculated;

OP facts; and

OP myths.
