We are pleased to announce that Ms Lara Morgan has been appointed to the role of Deputy Principal - Studies and will commence at the College in January 2024.

Ms Morgan’s appointment follows a recruitment search to find the best candidate to meet the needs of our College. As an experienced educator and leader, Ms Morgan, brings a wealth of experience to this role and to our College Leadership Team.

Ms Lara Morgan is currently the Dean of Learning at Ambrose Treacy College and has also served at St Joseph’s Nudgee College as Director of Pathways, Learning and Teaching, Head of VET and as a Senior English Teacher.

With more than 20 years of demonstrated leadership experience in the education sector, Ms Morgan’s leadership capability and professional experiences have prepared her to inspire colleagues in the pursuit of best practice, while working with staff to actively engage and educate students and improve student outcomes.

In and out of the classroom, Ms Morgan champions a learning environment in which students take responsibility for their learning and where academic rigour, creative and critical thinking thrive.

As a past pupil of St Rita’s College, we are excited to welcome Ms Morgan to our College community and congratulate her on her appointment.
