Religious Identity and Culture

The College introduces students to a view of the world founded on the person of Jesus Christ, scripture and the ongoing tradition of the Church.

At the heart of our Catholic community is a commitment to the holistic formation of every student, nurturing empowered, informed and confident young women of faith and wisdom, inspired to walk purposefully in answer to Jesus' call to be a light to the world.

Rooted in the evangelising mission of the Church, our College is a place of complete formation, a vibrant community where faith is lived, explored and shared in dialogue with young people of diverse backgrounds and experiences. We mark the rhythms of the Church's liturgical life together, gathering for Masses, prayerful assemblies and sacred rituals that honour the everyday patterns of life, rites of passage, and moments of grief and loss, joy and celebration.

Our students learn how to live lives that demonstrate faith in action, inspired by the life, teachings and love of Jesus Christ. Grounded in the gospel values of service, humility, love, compassion, mercy, justice and hope, students are encouraged to step boldly into the world with a heart for others and learn how to become women of action. Through the examples of Jesus, Nano Nagle and St Rita, students learn that true leadership is borne of service, and that it is in giving of our time, talents and self that we truly engage in the world.

Our College community is shaped and inspired by the lives of our two patrons, Venerable Nano Nagle and St Rita of Cascia, who boldly lived lives of hope, courage, compassion, simplicity, hospitality and justice. Nano Nagle, foundress of the Presentation Sisters, brought light, learning and dignity to those on the margins through quiet courage and deep compassion. St Rita of Cascia, patroness of the impossible, carried extraordinary faith and gentle resilience through life's most profound difficulties, reminding us that hope always endures. Their legacies are not simply part of our history, they are a living and foundational expression of who we are called to be.

Together, their witness invites us to be people of kindness and compassion, peace and community, and hope and healing, discovering inner strength through gentleness and bringing that spirit into every dimension of our daily lives. As our patrons reflected the love of the Gospel in their own place and time, so too are our students called to carry that same light into the world today.
