Working with St Rita’s College
St Rita's College engages a range of contractors and service providers who contribute to the educational experience, wellbeing, operations and maintenance of the College. This may include tradespeople, consultants, presenters, workshop facilitators, performers, coaches, therapists, specialist educators and other external professionals.
The College is committed to providing a safe, supportive and compliant workplace for students, staff, visitors and contractors. All contractors undertaking work on College grounds are required to comply with relevant workplace health and safety requirements, student protection obligations, and College policies and procedures.
If you have been engaged by St Rita's College to provide services, deliver a program, undertake works, or otherwise attend the College in a professional capacity, please complete the registration form below. The information collected helps the College meet its obligations relating to student protection, workplace health and safety, compliance and risk management.

Before You Arrive On Site
All contractors are required to:
- Complete the Contractor Registration Form.
- Provide evidence of appropriate licences, qualifications, certifications and insurances applicable to the services being provided.
- Complete the College's induction requirements.
- Review and acknowledge the College's Student Protection requirements.
- omply with all Workplace Health and Safety requirements while on site.
- Ensure all workers engaged under their organisation have completed the required induction and registration processes.
Contractors undertaking work that may involve contact with students may also be required to hold a valid Blue Card or Exemption Card in accordance with legislative requirements. Additional requirements may apply depending on the nature of the engagement and the level of interaction with students.
Please read the Volunteer and Other Personnel Code Of Conduct, located on the Policies and Procedures page before completing the Acknowledgement section of the Registration form below.
Contractor Responsibilities
Contractors Must
- Follow all College policies, procedures and directions provided by authorised College staff.
- Sign in and out through the College's visitor management system on every visit.
- Wear appropriate identification while on site.
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Report hazards, incidents, injuries and near misses immediately.
- Ensure all equipment and materials brought onto site are safe and fit for purpose.
- Work only within the scope of their qualifications, licences and approved works.
- Respect the privacy, dignity and wellbeing of students, staff and visitors.
- Immediately report any concerns relating to student safety or wellbeing to a Student Protection Officer.
Contractors Must Not
- Work outside approved areas or undertake unauthorised works.
- Leave tools, equipment or hazardous materials unattended where students may access them.
- Interact with students beyond what is necessary to perform their duties.
- Take photographs, videos or recordings of students without prior authorisation.
- Access confidential College information unless authorised to do so.
- Smoke, vape, consume alcohol or use prohibited substances on College grounds.
- Bring children, family members or unauthorised persons onto site while undertaking contracted work.
Student Protection
St Rita's College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
Anyone working with students is expected to:
- Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the College's Student Protection requirements.
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Follow directions provided by College staff.
- Immediately report any knowledge, suspicion or concern regarding harm to a child.
- Comply with all legislative and College requirements relating to child safety.
Arrival and Site Access
Upon arrival at the College, contractors must:
- Sign in via the College's visitor management system.
- Obtain a visitor or contractor identification badge.
- Follow any instructions provided by the College representative overseeing the works.
- Remain within authorised work areas only.
- Sign out upon completion of works and departure from site.
