Outdoor Education

Outdoor Education at St Rita's College enriches the school experience by building resilience, initiative, teamwork, and leadership through meaningful outdoor challenges.

These programs also foster deep personal growth, stronger relationships, and enhanced cognitive skills that support students both in and beyond the classroom.

St Rita’s College’s commitment to Outdoor Education is carefully calibrated to give students the opportunity to participate in team activities that develop and enhance resilience and collaboration, alongside their organisational and leadership abilities. Working in partnership with one of the most respected Queensland-based providers of Outdoor Education, Queensland Conference and Camping Centres (QCCC), a sequential approach has been constructed for students.

Getting out of the classroom and into nature provides our students with the opportunity to safely step outside of their comfort zone. These appropriately challenging experiences help students develop resilience, gain confidence, improve teamwork and enhance relationships with their peers and teachers.
