Counselling Student Life

The supportive staff of St Rita’s College take a professional and personable approach to the social and emotional wellbeing of our students.  St Rita’s is a school where students are both supported and empowered in meeting any challenges which they may experience.

Our fulltime Guidance Counsellors can assist with both personal and educational counselling. The latter may include motivation, time management and study planning, with focus on equity and special provisions around assessment. Referrals to outside agencies may be discussed regarding additional support in both areas which may lead to a diagnosis and/or psychometric assessments. The emphasis is always on early intervention. Students and their parents can access this service through the relevant Head of House, College Chaplain, or directly with the Guidance Counsellors.
