St Rita’s College has an outstanding reputation as an inspiring, nurturing educational environment for young women.

There are more than 150 leadership, teaching, learning support, pastoral, information technology, administration and maintenance staff at St Rita’s College and each underpins St Rita’s delivery of the very best education to more than 1000 girls from Years 7–12.

St Rita’s College is an Independent Catholic girls’ college and conditions of employment are as contained in the Catholic Employing Authorities Single Enterprise College Agreement – Religious Institute Schools of Queensland 2105-2019.

Advertised Positions

As teaching positions become available, they will be advertised and at that point we welcome applications from educators with proven excellence in learning outcomes, a demonstrated understanding of effective pedagogical approaches, and a genuine commitment to excellence in girls’ education. All teaching applicants must hold current Queensland Teacher Registration. 

Applications for advertised positions are also invited from support and administrative staff with a high level of ability and experience that meets the advertised position role available from the College website. All non-teaching applicants must provide evidence of positive paid employment approval from the Queensland Government Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

St Rita’s College does not accept, nor hold on file, general applications for future teaching, support or administrative positions.

Should your application be shortlisted, you will be asked to provide the following documentation at the time of interview:

  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • Certified copy of Teacher Registration (for teaching positions)
  • Copy of Positive Paid Employment Blue Card notice (for non-teaching positions)

Supply Staff

St Rita’s has a listing of valued Supply staff. The employment of additional Supply staff is sometimes required but is infrequent. Applications may be lodged for Supply teaching from educators with proven excellence in learning outcomes, a demonstrated understanding of effective pedagogical approaches and a genuine commitment to excellence in girls’ education. All applicants must hold current Queensland Teacher Registration. Applicants will only be contacted if the College has interest for their inclusion on our Supply list.  An interview will be requested with applicants of interest.
