Parents and Friends Our College

A hallmark of St Rita’s is the involvement of its community in the life of the College.

The Parents and Friends Association, the Sport Subcommittee and the Music Support Group host a range of events and opportunities throughout each year. The education the College provides is greatly enriched by the impressive work of parents/guardians who are involved in these committees.

Our enthusiastic and highly supportive parent community work hard to provide a range of social opportunities that bring together parents/guardians of all Year levels and House Groups. They bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm in volunteering for the various community events and projects such as the New Parent Welcome BBQ, WalkOut, Carnival, the Mother Daughter Dinner, Father Daughter Breakfast, Rita's Longest Lunch. College Race Day, Dances, Musicals, Concerts, Sports team breakfasts and so much more.

Attending meetings of the Parents and Friends Association and the subcommittees provides a platform to hear firsthand from the Principal about College, teaching, learning and student matters and to engage with members of College leadership.

These dedicated parents are the quiet achievers of our College, whose commitment rewards their daughters with funds that assist the acquisition of additional learning resources for the girls, keeping the College’s sports and musical equipment plentiful, and for improvements to the College. They provide invaluable organisational, promotional, hospitality and fundraising support and this meaningful engagement is held in high regard.
