The St Rita’s College Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Maree Trims to the position of College Principal, commencing 2024.

Maree Trims is a familiar face to many within our St Rita’s College community as she has served the College for eight years as Deputy Principal, Studies. During her time at the College, Mrs Trims has been leading curriculum transformation focused on developing courageous, discerning and innovative young women of action.

College Board Chair, Mr Graham McManus, said “Mrs Trims is an experienced and highly successful educator and leader who will bring a wealth of experience to the role of Principal and continuity of leadership to the College. Her appointment comes after an extensive national and international recruitment search, conducted by an independent education executive search organisation.”

Mr McManus added, “this rigorous recruitment process carefully evaluated both internal and external candidates based on criteria important to the ongoing success and performance of the College. Mrs Trims’ appointment is testament to the calibre of quality educators and educational leaders within our College.”
